Imagineer Designs was formed in 2005 by James Lee Kennett, a film freak with more than a decade's experience in the industry, culminating in his role as Creative Director of ContentFilm.

Having reached those lofty heights and growing restless, he issued a ‘call to arms’ to the best artists, photographers, DVD and web designers, asking them to join him on a bold new journey. Thankfully, not only did the best creatives follow him, but every company he’s previously worked with came on as clients. We take that as a proud testament to both our quality of design and the strength of relationships we build with clients.

 

How are we different?

You might have noticed that good design has become rather expensive. Here’s a little known fact: typically, you pay an exorbitant design fee and while the designer gets an amount in his monthly pay packet, the rest goes to ‘the middleman’ - the company that comes between you and the talent. Sure, they have a fancy London office, the nice receptionist, the expensive overheads and the expense accounts but does that make for better design? No.

At Imagineer Designs we’ve radically rethought the process and cut out the middleman. You'll deal directly with our designers, receive the highest standard of work and, to top it off, you'll keep your budget looking trim. Does it matter if work is emailed to you from W1 or the office down the corridor? We think not. With 20 megabyte lines connecting us, our designers can work from any location. With video conferencing we can meet ‘face to face’. With widescreen laptops we can even come in and work with you if you’d like that ‘in-house designer’ feel.

 

And you know what? It works. We haven’t missed a deadline yet.
